Give a child the

BECOME A RAISING MALAWI PARTNER TODAY
WHY GIVE?
-
01
It currently costs $2.4 million annually to run the Mercy James Centre.
-
02
Costs for critical infrastructure like drugs, surgical supplies and fuel fluctuate dramatically alongside currency value in Malawi.
-
03
To fully sustain operations, MJC needs to add 4 surgeons, 2 anesthetists, 4 critical care nurses, 2 theater nurses, 3 bio-medical engineers, and 1 intensivist over the next five years.
-
04
MJC also supports the training of their own surgical staff and the surgical needs of the 3 other central hospitals across Malawi.
-
05
Only with trained staff can Malawi’s referral network function properly and serve the needs of the population where more than 50% are under 18.
-
06
Our aim is to raise $12 million to sustain and replicate this model.
MEET SARAH.
She was a victim in a motorbike accident and sustained significant damage to her trachea and larynx, losing the ability to breathe independently. Our incredible team of physicians at Mercy James provided life-saving surgery and support for Sarah.
MEET SUCCESS.
Success was admitted to the hospital at 4 months old due to the presence of a large congenital teratoma tumor. Thanks to the team at MJC, Success underwent surgery to remove the tumor and continues to receive follow-up support.
MEET TREVOR.
