Jewelry to Benefit Raising Malawi

Inspired by Madonna's commitment to the children of Malawi, Aurora Lopez Mejia has chosen to support Raising Malawi.

Founded in 2006 by Madonna and Michael Berg, Raising Malawi is dedicated to bringing an end to the extreme hardship and poverty endured by Malawi's 2,000,000 orphans and vulnerable children once and for all. Aurora Lopez Mejia has crafted a line of custom jewelry with the goal of raising money for Raising Malawi.

Drawing from conversations with Madonna about the work of Raising Malawi, Aurora conceived of a simple, yet distinctive necklace based on the word "Mtima." Translated from Chichewa, it means "heart."

All profits made from the Aurora Lopez Mejia "Mtima" necklace line will directly support Raising Malawi. Aurora Lopez Mejia will not profit from this project.
