Malawi has a young population deeply impacted by the AIDS epidemic
66% of Malawians are under the age of 25. More than one million Malawian children have lost one or both parents to HIV/AIDS. Nearly 17% of children are orphans or classified as vulnerable due to the impact of HIV/AIDS on their families.
